Dr. Alexander Young has been a veterinary practitioner for more than 30 years. He has spent most of his professional career building a companion animal practice in Friendswood, while establishing himself as a quality pet healthcare provider in the community.

Dr. Young attended Kansas State University, where he received a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. In 1973, he moved to Texas and opened Creekwood Veterinary Hospital, relocating the practice to its current location in 1985.

As owner of the hospital, Dr. Young is responsible for management and operations, but his duties as a veterinarian remain a primary focus. He works with the other doctors at the hospital to provide preventive care, although Dr. Young also has a special interest in surgery and ophthalmology.

Dr. Young and his wife, Cindy, have two daughters . Any spare time away from his practice focuses on family or his other passion -- bass fishing! Dr. Young also enjoys playing his piano, a 1914 Knabe Grand.
